This really is a 'complete system'. All you need to supply is 15mm copper pipe and fittings (elbows, tees etc) to connect the system together. This system has been carefully designed to work together, and is available in 3 versions suitable for different sizes of household: a two panel system with a 147 litre cylinder, a 3 panel system with a 216 litre cylinder, and a 4 panel system with a 259 litre cylinder. Which system do you need? Every family's hot water usage varies, but UK figures suggest typical use of 25 to 40 litres per person per day. A typical adult's bath might use 50 litres of hot water, a shower 20 litres, and a power shower might use 20 litres per minute! The kit includes: Atlas flat panel solar collectors with roof mounting kit, twin coil hot water cylinder, Resol FlowCon pump and control set, filling set (high temperature Glycol and adapted pressure spray bottle), expansion vessel, high temperature pipe insulation, air bleed set, and of course the LILI self build solar installation manual. We are confident that this is by far the best value solar hot water kit in the UK. It is comprised of top quality UK and German made components which meet all EU standards and should give you long, trouble free service. Datasheets for the main components are available via the entries for the individual components in the LILI online shop. NB like virtually all solar hot water installations systems, this system is not suitable for connection to a 'combi' boiler (i.e. a boiler that doesn't have a hot water cylinder) nor for direct (pressurised) hot water sytems. To be suitable for solar hot water, your house/bungalow needs to have a SE, South, or SW facing roof, and the position on the roof where you install the panels must be free from overshadowing.
