Probably the only interior varnish you will ever need again!
Made from a mixture of natural oils and waxes, think of this as a natural varnish suitable for wooden floors and all internal woodwork such as shelves, doors, toys. Available in satin or matt, the finish is extremely hardwearing and dirt resistant.
Osmo Polyx-Oil is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. Natural oils and waxes penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, and preventing it from getting dry and brittle. The wood is allowed to breathe. Moisture can evaporate. Shrinking and swelling are reduced.
The surface is water repellent and resistant to wine, beer, colar, coffee, tea, millk, fruit juice, water, perspiration, and saliva. Will not flake, peel or blister.
Partial renovation possible without needing to sand the whole floor.
Coverage - 1 litre covers approximately 12 square metres with 2 coats.
Suitable for all native hard and softwoods, and cork. Not suitable for some exotic hardwoods such as Wenge, Brazillian Walnut, Merbau, Jaoba, Afromosia (check if in doubt).
If contemplating a large flooring probject DO buy a sample pot first.
