one-day course

wet felt-making garments

location: nr Bath, NE Somerset

A full day workshop learning more advanced felt making techniques in order to make slippers, mittens, hats and bags.

You will learn how to work with templates to produce at least one 3-D seamless felt garment, to take home at the end of the day and be able to transfer these skills to other felt work.

A knowledge of felt making would be an advantage, but beginners are welcome.

Tutor Pippa Gibbins is very experienced at teaching both adults and children felt work. She is currently teaching locally at two Steiner schools.  Pippa has a strong interest in 3-D felt garments and has much expertise in creating unique individual items of clothing. She is also a member of the Spinners Guild.
