This part-two of the cycle mechanics for beginners course goes through all the greasy stuff: the bearings, stripping them down for a thorough service, adding years to the life of your bike. This course covers:

- Adjusting and regreasing headsets

- Bottom Bracket replacement with cassette

- Adjusting rubbing disk brakes (if requested)

- Light wheel true

- Replace a broken spoke

- Any requested points from Stage One

This course will introduce you to bike mechanics in a relaxed and supportive environment. You don't need any previous experience, just the desire to get hands-on and skilled up. The aim is to save you money and demonstrate just how empowering and enjoyable cycle mechanics can be with a few tools and the right knowledge. Spaces are limited to just four students per tutor. We encourage you to bring your own bike to work on. We also have low cost secondhand parts and some new parts.
