venue: the Ceridwen Centre, Carmarthenshire, WalesAn opportunity to nurture ourselves, and explore ways to use permaculture to improve our lives, relationships, work and community. Over the 6 days we will be co-creating a warm, nurturing space to explore the personal and social aspects of permaculture. This will be a group journey into how we can use permaculture principles and design methods to create harmony within ourselves and with other people and the planet. Overall course outline and themes of each day: We will start each day before breakfast with yoga, movement, meditation or voice work. The morning will then comprise of sessions around the theme of the day which will be active, creative and inclusive. After lunch there will be personal reflective time for rest or walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The rest of the afternoon will continue with more sessions looking at the topics in greater depth. As
well as being able to share experiences during the day participants
are welcome to bring their own skills, techniques and ideas to share in
the
after dinner session. The rest of the evening can be spent by the fire
with songs, games, music and socialising.
This course is for anyone wanting to design a better life for themselves. It is particularly relevant for people working in groups and community projects wanting to achieve true human sustainability. Anyone wanting to learn ways to communicate more effectively with other people will find value in this space to share.
