location: Chalford, nr Stroud, Gloucestershire

A one day workshop for beginners with a focus on raising crops from seed.

Half the workshop will be in the garden sowing seeds outdoors – including carrots, parsnips, spinach, spring onions, beetroot. The other half will be sowing seeds in the greenhouse in trays and pots of things like tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines.

You will sow seeds to take home too. With vegetable grower Helen Pitel.

As much of the day will be spent outdoors, please wear appropriate clothing
