Beginner Bee-Keeping Course, starting Monday, 7th February 2011 - 8 weeks theory on Monday nights, 7.15pm - 9.15pm. 4 weeks practical sessions (opening hives), starting once the bees have built up a sufficient population (probably in April). Full notes supplied by Michael Oliver, PhD. Protective clothing supplied during practical sessions.
Learn all you need to know on how to start bee-keeping immediately. Learn about the bee-keeping year, how to build frames and hives, how to prevent disease. Course includes on-going support throughout the year. Add-ons: extraction day and reunion in Autumn.
Our goal is to make you feel 100% comfortable and confident in keeping bees and offer you full support in doing so.
