Buses from Hebden Bridge railway station - here's the timetable (pdf). Buses stop at the New Delight Inn at Colden. The service is regular and reliable. Or you can cycle or walk from Hebden Bridge station (see map).

from Hebden Bridge approaching from the east
Go through Hebden Bridge along the main street past the Co-op on the left. Go straight over the traffic lights (no right turn). The Fox & Goose will be in front of you on the right side of the road - look for the turning circle 200m on the left. Turn in the circle, go back to the traffic lights and take the left fork at the Fox & Goose - Heptonstall Road, signed Heptonstall, Colden and Slack. Continue on this road for about 3 miles (don’t take the turning for Heptonstall!). Riverdene is half way down the hill between Colden School and the New Delight Pub.

Approaching Hebden Bridge from Todmorden, keep an eye out on the right for the turning circle. 200m further on, you come to the traffic lights and the Fox & Goose pub. Take the left fork - Heptonstall Road, signed Heptonstall, Colden and Slack. Continue on this road for about 3 miles (don’t take the turning for Heptonstall!). Riverdene is half way down the hill between Colden School and the New Delight Pub.
