Train to Bangor, then a 2 mile / 3km walk or cycle. Turn right out of the station and down the hill. After 100 metres the road curves sharp right under a railway bridge. Keep going along this road (Caernarfon Road) until you come to the roundabout by Tesco (approx 1 mile / 1.6 kms). Turn left as if into Tesco and immediately left again into Cyttir Lane at the back of Tesco. Continue along this lane for 1.3 km (0.8 mile), passing a motorcycle and car sales shop, underneath a road bridge (the A55) and past Finney’s carpet warehouse. Pen y Bonc is the next turning on the right after Finney’s. Look out for 2 white beehives on either side of the track with 'Pen y Bonc' written on them.

Coming from any direction, find the Caernarfon Road A4087 junction with the A55 dual carriageway. Travelling in the Bangor direction initially, turn Right as if into the TESCO superstore and then immediately left into Cyttir Lane to the back of Tesco.
