    Profile:

Let me tell you a secret. In a deep dark forest a beautiful pearl is hidden… To be precise, in the Stave Hill Eco Park, near Stave Hil there is the SHED – Stave Hill Eco Depot, a paradise for children. You can visit an Insect Village there with their own Insect Castle! During warm seasons you can see different vegetables and berries grown by local volunteers. If beekeepers are on site you could have a look inside a beehive! Sometimes if you are lucky you could find a frog, newt or even a slow worm. Every second Saturday of each month there is K@SH – Kids at Stave Hill workshops. Children make different creatures out of recycling materials with the help of adults and imagination of kids. Come alone to enjoy a free Art and Craft workshop in a fun and friendly atmosphere between 11 am and 3 pm. Children younger than 8 year old must be accompanied by adults.

There’s a crash coming – a slap from Mother Nature. This isn’t pessimistic; it’s realistic.

The human impact on nature and on each other is accelerating and needs systemic change to reverse.

We’re not advocating poverty, or a hair-shirt existence. We advocate changes that will mean better lives for almost everyone.
