This course is for able-bodied children over the age of 10 years accompanied by one adult per child. This one-day course is aimed at learning basic green woodworking skills with your child. This will be wonderful bonding experience and hopefully the beginning of a shared passion for greenwood. Basic skills will be shown and the opportunity to use traditional hand tools and equipment such as pole lathe and shave horse. At the end of the day you will expect to walk away with some items that you have made yourselves but also enough knowledge to start creating more items in the future.
