Hazel wattle hurdles have been made in the countryside for hundreds of years. Originally used for penning sheep, they are now almost exclusively used for garden fences, screens and dividers. This course, led by an experienced hurdlemaker will show you how to select the correct material for the various stages of the hurdle, split each hazel rod into two halves and weave your own small hurdle. This course is available for up to 8 participants only. dates: see 'book online' below
