He is also committed to the public having access to good quality information on herbs in order to treat themselves for minor ailments. An inspiring and entertaining teacher, he has over 20 years teaching, herb growing and herbal practice experience to draw on, and a beautiful herb garden on the Isle of Arran. Herbal medicines have been the basis of healthcare as long as there have been humans - and animals have an instinctive ability to select herbs for healing. The pressures of modern society have dulled this knowledge in people, and this introductory course is aimed to help start the reawakening of these essential skills. The course includes:
