This is a free course, supported by Lancashire County Council.

Tutor: Rod Everett from the Middlewood Trust.

Winter pruning – during the day you will learn how to prune fruit trees for health and improved fruiting.

We will look at the wide selection of fruit trees around the farm to see and practice different pruning techniques.

You will get the chance to try out and develop your skills. All tools will be provided.

Please bring warm and waterproof clothes and sturdy footwear.

£5 for lunch and refreshments.
