jewellery making / silversmithing

location: nr Penrith, Cumbria

On this two-day workshop you should expect to make and finish at least a pendant or a bracelet.

Your design will be individual to you and in the process will learn many jewellery-making techniques including cutting, forming, doming, soldering, texturing and polishing.

The tutor is Melinda Scarborough. Melinda trained for 4 years acquiring a  BA Hons in Jewellery at Middlesex University and a 2-year diamond mounting course at London Met. 

She previously exhibited at The Goldsmiths’ fair and was ‘Winning Student Designer of the Year’ at the British Jewellery Association Awards and has a 1st Goldsmiths Craft Council design award.
