one-day course

willow wigwams for the vegetable garden

location: nr Penrith, Cumbria

These are a contemporary twist on the original wigwam with a helix type binding.

Wigwams add structure ,make great statements in the veg patch and can be used for climbing flowers and peas/beans etc. in all areas of the garden and and are great to put into large oak barrels to support sweet peas and/or other climbing veg or flowers - even clematis.

Course tutor is Phil Bradley BSc, organic willow grower and creator of all things willow.

All willow days incur an extra charge payable directly to Phil for the willow used. This is variable and usually falls between £4 and £10.
