A good introduction to green woodworking and many of the processes and tools used, plus you get to take home your own shave horse for using on your own projects at home.

A shave horse is an indispensible tool for many green woodworking projects and the making of one will introduce you to lots of different techniques.

Learn to:

  • select wood for projects
  • split green wood with axes and wedges
  • use a side axe to rough out shapes
  • use a drawknife to shape split wood
  • make mortice and tenon joints
  • use a shave horse and get ideas for further projects
