Want to learn how to carve a wooden spoon?

This course is set in a woodland environment, you will spend the day learning the basic techniques of working with wood, and you will be taken through how to select the correct wood for your spoon, various carving and cutting techniques which will enable you to carve a beautiful wooden spoon and other useful utensils.

By the end of the day you will walk away with the knowledge how to carve a spoon and various other utensils from wood.

Over the course of the day you will learn:

  • Correct cutting and carving techniques
  • Knife and Saw safety
