This is a guided interpretive and interactive walk through the varied woodlands of a world heritage site. This winter walk in the woods will be of particular interest to those who would like to hone their bushcraft skills and improve their winter tree identification. While you are in the woods we will also look for and identify any useful plants, look for animal tracks and signs as well as getting to grips with some fundamental bushcraft skills such as fire lighting. Your tutor Paul spent 10 years studying and training under the guidance of world-renowned bushcraft and survival expert, Ray Mears, first as a student on his bushcraft courses and then was employed as Ray’s Course Director. Paul continues to be a professional bushcraft instructor and now owns a leading bushcraft school. The cost of the course includes a delicious two course homemade vegetarian lunch.
