Some very sad news. We have been the victim of theft - over £30,000 - by someone we trusted. We now have lots of bills to pay, with very little money to pay them. LILI started in 2001 with 2 people, and our working relationships have always been based on personal contact and trust. Unfortunately we've learnt a painful lesson.

This is now in the hands of the police, and we've put strict checks and balances in place for the future, but we now have a bit of a mountain to climb to get back on to an even keel (if you'll forgive the metaphors). Most people we owe money to have been brilliant, and have agreed to wait a bit longer; plus we've received lots of offers of help already. Thanks to everyone - you know who you are.
