one-day course

basket weaving for beginners

location: nr Thornbury, South Gloucestershire

On this workshop you will learn the art of basket weaving and have the chance to put your skills to use making one of these useful little baskets with their pretty woven handles (known as 'egg baskets') to take home with you. Create an individual design/shape using different coloured willow and you will create a unique memento of your day.

The course is run by Richard and Suzie Kerwood of Windrush Willows, who have been growing and weaving willow in Devon since 1997.
