weekend course wicked weekend for girls

location: on Dartmoor, Devon

A wickedly fun weekend concocting potions and lotions, creating fire and sleeping outdoors.  Get down and dirty in the day, foraging for food and making survival shelters and craft items.  Dress up for the evening bringing your stories and songs to celebrate around a blazing fire. Pure unadulterated girly fun - wilderness style!

The syllabus for this weekend allows participants to learn new skills in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We will also venture out of the beautiful woodland for a wild walk whilst the evenings will host a programme of night-time games and in-house entertainment! Expect to make new friendships, share meaningful mother and daughter (or aunt and niece) time, and learn some amazing new things. 

This weekend brew of survival skills, bushcraft and nature awareness will offer a deep immersion experience to nourish both those experienced and new to the wild wonderful wilderness!

The activities on this camp are most suitable for girls aged 6yrs and older.
We will provide evening meals and a simple breakfast as well as teas and coffee, but you will need to bring food for your own lunches.

Course Leader - Hetti Dysch
Hetti’s passion is wilderness therapy – for her working outside is like therapy through the backdoor. She is the founder of ‘The Wilderness Club’, a Saturday outdoor club for children, and also works as a Wilderness Facilitator with adults; she has an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy with a private practise in South Devon and spends her spare time walking and adventuring.
