    Profile:

Brighton Permaculture trust runs a wide range of courses in permaculture, food growing, orchard care and eco building. We plant school and community orchards, bringing people together and creating access to healthy food. We also pick fruit in and around Brighton & Hove that would otherwise go to waste, turning it into delicious juices, ciders, jams and chutneys. We care for our own orchards and permaculture demonstration plot, enhancing our environment for people and for wildlife.

There’s a crash coming – a slap from Mother Nature. This isn’t pessimistic; it’s realistic.

The human impact on nature and on each other is accelerating and needs systemic change to reverse.

We’re not advocating poverty, or a hair-shirt existence. We advocate changes that will mean better lives for almost everyone.
