    Profile:

    Rob Bibby creates a wide range of functional pottery from plates, bowls, mugs etc to larger serving dishes and tureens. His work is colourfully decorated and glazed and can be used in the microwave, oven and dishwasher. He will take orders for complete dinner services. Rob is based in the village of Woodnewton, a small village in picturesque East Northamptonshire, between Peterborough, Stamford and Oundle. Rob's studio known as Woodnewton Pottery is a large workshop converted from a historic Wesleyan chapel.

    Courses at Woodnewton Pottery


    Regular classes right through the year stopping only at Christmas. Students are free to follow their own direction from sculpture to hand building pottery and throwing. From time to time the pottery offers short courses which vary in length from a couple of hours to several days. These can be for a family or can be a team building session. Each such course is tailored to the wishes of the participants and usually includes lunch and refreshments.
