    Maresa Bossano bio

Maresa Bossano has more experience in local food than most. “I set up and ran a local, organic, vegan cafe. I worked for Sustain for five years, managing the Food Co-ops project. I was a Five-a-Day Co-ordinator for a Primary Care Trust. I set up a Farmers’ Market and a social enterprise veg box scheme. I have volunteered on several organic farms. I am now UK Co-ordinator of the Community Supported Agriculture Network. “So I was very pleased to find that OFN is helping all these organisations get local food to local people with minimal cost and maximum opportunity to build food sovereignty”

There’s a crash coming – a slap from Mother Nature. This isn’t pessimistic; it’s realistic.

The human impact on nature and on each other is accelerating and needs systemic change to reverse.

We’re not advocating poverty, or a hair-shirt existence. We advocate changes that will mean better lives for almost everyone.
